I Love The 90s

90s > Present

franniemarie:

Yesterday I was looking at ilovethe90s blog and I couldn’t help but remember the memories I had when I was a kid.

Times back then were so much simpler and there was nothing to worry about. The only thing I would worry about is to not miss The Rugrats or Hey Arnold or The Powerpuff Girls. I remember waking up early every morning to watch the best cartoons, do that all day and not get bored. I remember playing outside with the other neighborhood kids in the street until dark and still not wanting to go in the house. When I look back at it I really miss it. Now of days all I think about is school, homework, driving, what colleges I’m going to apply to and what I’m going to do for the rest of my life. Honestly, I have no clue what i want to do in life at all. I’ve picked so many different careers that I’ve wanted to pursue but then I realize it doesn’t really interest me.I’m a junior and I’m confused about my future. Next thing you know I’m a senior about to graduate and I’m not going to know what I’m going to major in. My parents own a company but that’s not what I truly want to do for the rest of my life, I feel like there’s something else out there for me. I wish there was some sort of book or guide that had all the answers to my future. Life would be so much easier if it were that way, but sadly thats not the case. Apart of me doesn’t want to grow up and stay a kid forever even though I know ever kid has to grow up one day. If Neverland were real I would totally live there (;

So if I were asked, ”What part of time would you travel back to ?”, I would say the 90’s in a heart beat.

PEACEout,

Frances (:
