Oh my goodness, the lyrics. I love these lyrics. If I sound like I’m hearing them for the first time, it’s because I am. The last time I heard this song I was about ten or eleven years old and in Russia, and my English vocabulary consisted of “dog”, “cat”, “house”, and the like. It’s such a strange but wonderful feeling to experience all these songs anew.
